$VIMP docs

How the bot works, where the money goes, and what can go wrong. Version 1, October 2026.

01Summary

$VIMP is a coin on pump.fun. Its creator fees pay for a bot that hunts vamps: copycat coins launched to steal volume from a coin that just bonded.

When a copy reaches a $10k market cap, the bot buys 5% of its supply in one transaction. If that copy later reaches $40k, the bot sells the whole 5% in one transaction. The bot runs on its own across all of pump.fun. Nobody signs up for it and nobody has to ask.

Every OG it protects, every copy it watches and every buy it makes shows up on the live board.

02The problem: vamps

A coin bonds on pump.fun. Within minutes, copies launch with the same ticker, the same name or the same picture. Buyers who come late search the ticker, find three of them and pick one.

The copy’s dev holds a big early bag and sells into those buyers. The OG loses volume it earned, and the people who aped the copy hold the bag.

A vamp works because nothing on the other side of the trade costs the dev anything. $VIMP puts something there.

03How the bot works

  1. 01

    A coin bonds

Its bonding curve completes. The bot marks it as an OG. The dev can also add or remove an OG by hand.

  2. 02

    Copies get listed

Any coin launched in the window around the bond goes on the list: from 20 minutes before the OG bonded to 10 minutes after, and launched after the OG itself.

  3. 03

    At $7k, a closer look

A listed coin that reaches this market cap gets checked against its OG: ticker, then name, then image. A match puts it in the bot’s sights. No match drops it.

  4. 04

    At $10k, the buy

A confirmed copy that crosses $10k gets 50,000,000 tokens bought, 5% of supply, in one transaction.

  5. 05

    At $40k, the sell

If the copy keeps climbing and reaches $40k, the bot sells all 50,000,000 tokens in one transaction.

The early check at $7k exists so the image comparison is already done when the copy hits the buy line. The buy goes out without waiting on it.

Only coins traded against SOL are in scope. Market caps come from the bonding curve reserves in each trade, priced in USD at the current SOL price.

04What counts as a copy

A coin is a copy of an OG if it launched inside the window and matches on any one of these:

MatchHow it’s checked
TickerLowercased, with $, spaces, punctuation and emoji removed, and filler like 2, v2, real, the, official, og, inu or coin stripped from either end. Equal after that counts.
NameThe same clean-up as the ticker.
ImageA 64-bit perceptual hash of each coin’s image. 10 or fewer differing bits counts as the same picture, so resizing, a crop or a light filter won’t hide a copy.

A coin is never a copy of itself, and a coin launched before its OG is never a copy of it.

05When tracking stops

  • The bot bought it. One buy per copy.
  • 24 hours passed without it reaching $10k.
  • Its OG died: the OG fell 70% from its peak since bonding. The bot drops the OG and every copy of it, because nobody is left to protect.

06The sell at $40k

A copy the bot holds that reaches a $40k market cap gets its whole position sold in one transaction: 50,000,000 tokens, 5% of supply, at once.

The sell works as a warning. A vamp dev needs buyers to carry the chart, and every buyer can see a wallet holding 5% that sells at $40k. Pumping a copy past $10k means pumping it into that sell, so running a vamp stops paying.

A copy that never reaches $40k doesn’t get sold. The bot keeps holding it.

Selling 5% of supply in one go moves the price. The bot gets less than the chart shows at $40k, and the board shows what it got back.

07Fees and the bot wallet

pump.fun pays creator fees on every $VIMP trade. All of them go to the bot wallet, 6jeMaK84VdiPZtBAmVD4XjbCxM2nU31S7f5KoPxVfgu9. You can check every fee, buy and sell on Solscan.

The bot wallet only buys and sells vamps. More $VIMP volume means more fees, a bigger wallet and bigger copies it can afford.

The bot sells a copy when it reaches $40k (see the section above).

08Safety limits

Hard limits sit between the bot and the wallet:

LimitValue
Buy size5% of supply, all or nothing. If the wallet can’t cover the full 5%, it skips
Most per buy10 SOL. A quote above that is treated as a bad price and skipped
Buys per hour5
Slippage15% at most
Kept for fees0.01 SOL always stays in the wallet
SellThe whole 5% when a held copy hits $40k, in one transaction
PauseOne command stops all buying. Detection keeps running

Every skipped buy shows on the live board with its reason, under “Passed on”.

Before real money, the bot runs in dry-run mode on mainnet: it finds copies and logs what it would buy without sending anything. The board says “Dry run” while that’s on.

09The live board

The bot writes a public state file every few seconds. The site reads it and shows:

  • Protected OGs: market cap, how far below peak, and how long the copy window stays open.
  • Vamps on the list: each copy’s market cap and how close it is to the $10k buy line.
  • Vamps held: every buy with its cost, the copy’s market cap now and how close it is to the $40k sell.
  • Sold at $40k: every sell with the SOL it brought back, the profit and the transaction link.
  • Passed on: copies the bot skipped, and why.
  • Bot wallet: SOL balance, SOL spent, SOL from sells and fees received.

The file holds no keys and nothing private. Every buy links to its transaction on Solscan, so you can check the chain instead of trusting the page.

11Risks

  • Memecoins can go to zero. So can every coin the bot buys.
  • The bot can miss a copy: a new picture with a new name, or one launched outside the window.
  • The bot can flag a coin that isn’t a copy, if it shares a common ticker with an OG.
  • Fees depend on $VIMP volume. A quiet week means a small wallet and skipped buys.
  • A copy can spike past $40k and fall back fast. The sell can land lower than the chart showed.
  • The sell itself pushes that copy’s price down. People holding the copy take the hit.
  • The dev controls the bot wallet.
  • pump.fun can change its fees, its programs or its fee sharing.

Nothing here is financial advice. Check the wallet on-chain before you trust a number on this site.
